UK equity manager Eric Moore has quit Gartmore Investment Management to join Insight Investment, owned by the HBOS banking group. His departure comes as Gartmore moves to lock in top investment staff with new five-year contracts.

Moore has worked at Gartmore for 10 years. At Insight he will report to head of UK equities John Bearman.
