Two UK pension funds have broken with tradition and invested in the continental European property market.

The pair, both clients of Henderson Global Investors, have investments in underlying continental properties, rather than in shares of quoted European property companies. Their investments were originally direct, but are now being moved into pooled vehicles, which offer greater diversification.
