Boris Johnson confirms government is ‘actively’ looking at hotel quarantine for travellers

Travellers currently have to present a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival and self-isolate for 10 days

Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed that the government is “actively” considering plans to roll out hotel quarantines for travellers arriving in the UK.

“That idea of looking at hotels is certainly one thing that we’re actively now working on,” Johnson said during an interview for broadcasters on 25 January, according to The Guardian.
