The UK Prime Minister and the Chancellor have announced that they will conduct a one-year spending review to be concluded late November.

The spending review, focused on the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and supporting jobs, comes as the government grapples with the uncertainty of a second wave of the virus and record levels of public debt.
