The Parliamentary Contributory Pension Fund, the scheme for UK members of parliament which was recently criticised for boosting pension provision, is reviewing its investment adviser.
Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow, the global pension and investment consultants, currently advises the £300m (€472m) scheme. The fund's investment managers will also be under pressure once the approved consultants carry out a review of investment strategy and benchmarking before the end of 2002.
