UK government warns again on 'unprofessional' trustees

The UK government, in a new report today, has formally warned chairmen of pension fund trustee boards to ensure their members are sufficiently qualified to make investment decisions.

Three years ago a review by Paul Myners, current chairman of Marks and Spencer, found that trustees fell short of professional standards required to run pension funds.
