A UK grandmother-of-four living in Coventry has become the first person in the world to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against Covid-19 outside a clinical trial.

Margaret Keenan, 90, was given the vaccine at Coventry’s University Hospital in the morning on 8 December as part of the UK’s coronavirus vaccination programme.
