UK still a major finance hub for hedge funds despite sector headwinds

The UK continues to be a dominant financial centre in the global hedge fund landscape outside the US, despite tightening regulations and diminishing returns.

London and Channel Islands-headquartered large hedge funds are managing $315bn in assets — 18% of the total ($1.75tn) managed by hedge funds with $10bn or more in assets.
