Only 17% of UK pension fund trustees have measures in place for conducting reviews of their own performance, according to survey conducted by Watson Wyatt and the Cranfield School of Management.
The survey examined attitudes of 106 UK pension fund decision makers, who represent assets of over £100bn (€161.4bn). It warned that trustees must explore their levels of competence, which are likely to come under increasing examination following Paul Myners' push for trustee education.
