UK pension funds badly burned by equities

UK pension funds have been slow to switch out of equities despite being badly burned by their exposure, according to The WM Company, the performance measurement company owned by Deutsche Bank.

In the first half of the year, UK pension funds saw negative returns of about 5%, WM said. This follows the first two consecutive years of negative returns since WM began monitoring UK pension fund results in the mid-1970s.
