UK pension funds pull money from fixed income and equities

UK pension funds returned an average of -13.9% in 2002, with schemes continuing their exodus from UK equities and fixed income, according to WM Company, the performance measurement firm.

Last year pension funds pulled over £3.6bn (€5.2bn) from UK equities, and exposure to this asset class was down to 40% by the end of the year.
