Trustee boards should reflect wider society in order to make better decisions, says the PLSA

UK pensions body demands greater trustee diversity

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association has launched a campaign to increase diversity on trustee boards and move away from “group think” decision-making.

The PLSA, which has more than 1,300 pension fund members, said trustee boards in the UK were 83% male and its Breaking the Mirror Image campaign was aimed at rebalancing this to reflect wider society.
