The UK prime minister has confirmed she will cancel a landmark parliamentary vote on her government’s Brexit agreement.

Theresa May said in a statement to the House of Commons on December 10 that she had “listened carefully” to MPs, and claimed that while most of her deal had “broad support”, MPs’ opposition had focused on the portion of the deal relating to the border between Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.
