Livingbridge, the UK mid-market private equity stalwart, has launched an office in Australia with a view to investing a "small percentage" of its latest £660 million fund in Australia and New Zealand, a spokesperson for the firm confirmed.

The Melbourne office is the first location that the firm has opened outside the UK to date.
