UK financial services firms have the world's most agreeable regulations, the City of London Corporation said, as new research suggests the City held onto its top spot for financial and professional services business for the second year in a row.

In a ranking pitting London against other sought-after destinations including New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris and Frankfurt, the Corporation said the City's "financial services regulatory regime remains the most favourable in the world."
