UK regulator fines Interactive Brokers over trade failings

The UK subsidiary of an online broker founded by one of the richest people in the world has been fined by the country's financial watchdog.

The Financial Conduct Authority said in a statement on Thursday that it had fined Interactive Brokers Group's UK arm £1m for "failings in its post-trade systems and controls for identifying and reporting suspicious transactions".
