UK stocks edged higher Monday, as analysts said markets worldwide were getting support from US President Donald Trump taking a more conventional stance toward key trade partners.
The FTSE 100 index rose 0.1% to 7,264.50, building on a last week’s 1% gain. The benchmark is on track for its highest close since Jan. 16.
