UK stocks rose for a fourth straight session on Friday, setting the benchmark index on track for a four-week closing high as miners rallied after forecast-beating Chinese export figures.
The FTSE 100 index jumped 0.6% to 7,274.13, building on a 0.6% advance from Thursday. The London blue-chip index was on track for a 1.2% weekly climb, which would be a second week of gains in a row.
