UK venture capitalists remain bullish about activity levels

Venture capitalists in the UK are confident about levels of activity for the remainder of the year despite concerns about the slowdown in the economy and the subsequent cost of fund raising, according to a survey by Deloitte & Touche.

The survey of 700 UK venture capitalists found that the number of VCs with pessimistic views about their investee companies performance has fallen from 70% since the beginning of the year, to under 50%.
