UK wealth firm Saltus has distanced itself from a faked story in The Telegraph about a wealthy banker who is struggling to make ends meet after being hit by rising private school fees.

The £8.8bn advice firm, which is majority owned by London buyout shop Preservation Capital Partners, found itself in the spotlight after being namechecked in the article, which was withdrawn by the newspaper for containing “false information”.
