UK will not go back to the negotiating table post-Brexit transition period

The Prime Minister's spokesman's comments come as talks with the bloc failed last week and the UK seeks an 'Australian style' agreement

The UK would not return to trade talks with the European Union next year after the end of the transition period on 31 December, a spokesman for Prime Minister Boris Johnson said.

“We will not be back to negotiate further next year,” the spokesman said on 19 October.
