UK’s £1tn pensions lobby picks new chairman

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association, the voice for UK pension schemes, has appointed a new chairman as it continues its search for a chief executive.

Richard Butcher, managing director at PTL — a provider of independent trustee services — will take up the role after Lesley Williams' two-year tenure ends in October, the lobby group said in a statement.
