Michael Hodgson, an investment director in the media team at 3i, has taken his sector expertise to Channel 4, the UK independent television station.

In his eight years at 3i Hodgson worked on a number of deals including the Ministry of Sound, the UK music company, and the buyout of Pinewood Studios, the UK television production company.
