UniCredit has hired a senior dealmaker to lead its advisory business, the latest hire as it builds out its investment bank under chief executive Andrea Orcel.

Nezahat Gultekin has joined the Italian lender as head of advisory, a role that encompasses M&A work and sector coverage, according to a statement from the bank.
