Swiss asset manager Unigestion has hired an academic from Imperial College to head its quantitative research function in London, where it has been adding staff despite the wider industry fears over Brexit.

Robert Kosowski will be responsible for running quant research across Unigestion’s equities investments and will report to head of equity Alexei Jourovski, according to a statement from the firm.
