Despite the panic yesterday during the London trading session, corporate spreads recovered and the stage is set for Unilever to sell its jumbo dollar issue later today.
"Equities are up today and corporate spreads bounced back during New York time, so after all that mess there is still a window for Unilever," said a banker involved in the deal.
