Universities scheme boosts responsible investing

The £29bn (€43bn) Universities Superannuation Scheme, the UK's second largest pension fund, has doubled the size of its responsible investment team.

USS has hired Natasha Landell-Mills from OTP Fund Management, the largest asset manager in Hungary, as an analyst responsible for integrating financial issues into investment decisions, while Helen Hopkins joins from the UK Social Investment Forum to co-ordinate voting, communications and project management.
