Unrated bonds reveal yield hunger

Issuance is up as investors seek alternatives to low-yielding, investment-grade debt

Unrated bond issuance is increasing as investors continue the search for yield while investment-grade corporate yields remain historically low.

Issuance from unrated European corporate bond borrowers stands at more than €8.7bn for the year to date, according to Dealogic, up from €5.5bn over the same period last year.
