US banks keep Europeans off DCM top spots

US banks are set to take the top three slots for running bond deals globally in the first half of the year – the first time since 2003 that no Europeans will appear.

The American banks' position has been helped by the increasingly global nature of bonds - plus work on raising their own debt. Europeans have been held back by reduced dealflow from European companies.
