Société Générale has shifted its top official in Japan back to Paris to run European corporate coverage, as part of a series of moves sparked by the departure of its chief executive for the Americas after 35 years with the French bank.
Eric Bellaiche, who has been with SG since 1992, has been chief country officer in Japan for the past four years but has relinquished that role to return to Paris from Tokyo, according to a statement from the French bank.
