US equities gain popularity among unit trust managers

North American equities have re-gained popularity among unit trust managers, with 58% of funds in the global growth sector increasing their exposure to the asset class, according to the fund information provider, Lipper.

The latest figures from May reveal that while investment in North American equities is on the increase, 56% of funds reported a decrease in their exposure to European markets. This reflects the performance of the asset classes.
