JP Morgan Investment Management's Kris Gommeren has been voted best individual pan-European investment manager by Europe's largest companies.

Gommeren knocks rival Fidelity Investments' leading research analyst Christian Stauss off the top spot in the Reuters European Larger Company survey for 2001, having been joint second last year. Stauss, based in London, fails to feature at all in the top 20 rankings this year despite still being with the US fund manager.
