US investors shunned mutual funds last month

Investors in the US put $14.9bn (€11.8bn) into equity mutual funds during November, a sharp decline on the previous month, while bond mutual funds continued to lose assets, according to industry trade body Investment Company Institute.

November's inflows into stock mutual funds were 41% lower than the $25.3bn invested in October, the largest inflow of the year.
