US IPOs raise $3.2bn in a week

Twelve companies listed in the US this week, raising a combined total of $3.2bn (€2.6bn). Morgan Stanley was the top bookrunner raising 64% of that amount.

The largest new offering came from Assurant, the life insurance firm, which raised $1.8bn when Fortis, the Benelux financials group, sold a 56% stake in the company.
