US law firm adds to Dubai office

Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher has appointed Linklaters counsel Hardeep Plahe as a partner in its corporate practice

US law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has recruited former Linklaters counsel Hardeep Plahe as a corporate finance partner in its Dubai office.

A spokesman for Gibson said that Plahe, who had been with Linklaters since 2001 and resident in Dubai since 2006, will focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private placings, joint ventures, reorganisations and financial services regulation.
