O'Melveny & Myers, a US law firm, has poached two partners from rival firms to build its private equity team in London.

Andrew Carpenter joins as a partner in private equity and mergers and acquisitions from DLA, the UK law firm voted one of this year's ten best UK companies for which to work and where he was the head of the private equity team.
