US lawsuit launched after Turkish mobile phone firm IPO

Six investment banks are facing securities fraud lawsuits following the flotation of Turkcell, the Turkish mobile phone company, in the New York.

The defendants include the global co-ordinators and bookrunners, Goldman Sachs International and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Others named in the suit are Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe), Deutsche Bank London, Lehman Brothers (Europe) and UBS.
