A US public pension fund has taken a 5% stake in a buyout boutique specialising in the financial services sector as part of its first direct investment in the UK.
The $80bn (â¬50.9bn) New Jersey State Investment Councilâs has purchased a stake in financial services specialist AnaCap Financial Partners' management company. The move coincides with the US pension scheme's cornerstone investment of â¬106.25m ($164m) in AnaCap's second fund.
