US venture-backed firms outperform public companies

Venture-backed companies have outperformed other public companies over the past 20 years in the US, according to a new study from the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).

The survey found that for every $1,000 (€1,019) in assets, US venture-backed companies generated more sales, paid more taxes, produced more exports and invested more in research and development.
