The UK’s network of regulators has a fleeting opportunity to overhaul the country’s legislation and seize a “Brexit dividend” for the economy, a major report has suggested.

Authored by Conservative MP John Penrose, the report said that following the end of the transition period in January, “the opportunities for post-Brexit Britain to cut red tape costs ought to be immense”.
