Jack Bogle warns smart beta exchange-traded funds will fail to deliver in the long run

The founder and former CEO of US asset management giant Vanguard, has questioned the industry's ability to successfully launch innovative products, claiming smart beta exchange-traded funds will fail to deliver in the long run.

Jack Bogle told an audience at the AQR Asset Management Institute conference in London on April 26: “I wonder if we aren’t suffering from too much innovation in the financial business.”
