Entry of world's largest mutual-fund company into the Canadian market offers prospect of price war

Canadian investors could be the beneficiaries of a price war on fees in response to the entry (finally!) of Vanguard, the world's biggest mutual-fund company, into the Canadian market.

Canadian business reporters are saying Canada's mutual-fund industry is also in nail-biting mode because Vanguard's fees and expense ratios are considerably lower than the current rates in Canada.
