Vanguard is leading the charge in the battle for British savers’ money — and its UK rivals are getting worried.

The US asset management behemoth almost doubled assets and client numbers on its retail fund platform this year as British investors flocked to the low-cost fund manager during the Covid pandemic, according to figures from Vanguard.
