Guy Varney, executive director in corporate development at Schroders, has left after 15 years to be finance director at Sagitta Asset Management, the wealth management company.

Varney was part of the Schroders strategy development and mergers and acquisitions team. He started his career at the investment banking division and moved to investment management eight years ago. He was previously responsbile for running the fund management support and web management teams.
