Truell’s VC firm bullish over cleantech commitments

A clean technology-focused venture capital firm chaired by buyout veteran Edmund Truell is confident of securing commitments of £100m (€111m). The effort follows a busy period of successful fundraisings in the cleantech and renewable energy sectors.

UK firm Curzon Park Capital, which was spun off from venture capital firm E-Synergy in March, has agreements in principle worth £100m to finance its investments on a deal-by-deal basis, according to a source close to the firm.
