A veteran fixed income trader at Goldman Sachs has retired from the Wall Street bank a year after being sidelined from his role running its vast interest rates group.

London-based Kostas Pantazopoulos will remain an advisory director, according to an internal memo sent on Monday. The contents of the memo were confirmed by a spokesman for the bank.
