Veteran UK marketer dies

Veteran UK institutional marketer Jeremy Clegg, responsible for successfully bringing a string of asset managers to the attention of investment consultants has died at the age of 61.

Jeremy passed away last week following his retirement from AIG Investments. Immediately before AIG he worked with Geoff Lindey to put JP Morgan Investment Management of the US on the map in Europe. In prior years, he worked at a range of UK-based managers including Baring, Henderson and Gartmore.
