UBS Warburg and CA IB Investment Bank have completed a €66.2m ($59.5m) accelerated tender for Flughafen Wien, Vienna airport's manager - the first of several airports due to issue equity this year.
The Swiss bank and CA IB, the investment banking arm of Bank Austria, finished the four-day bookbuilding on Tuesday. The Austrian government sold 1.72 million shares, all its remaining 8.2% stake, at €38.50 - a 1% discount to Tuesday's closing price. On Wednesday Flughafen's shares were trading slightly lower at €38.69, giving the firm a market capitalisation of €812.5m.
