Vikram Pandit resurfaces with an India connection

Former Citigroup chief links with Indian financial services group after stepping down in October

After months of speculation about his whereabouts, former Citigroup chief executive Vikram Pandit has resurfaced with an India connection.

Pandit will buy a 1.5% stake in Indian financial services firm JM Financial, and a firm led by him will invest $100m in JM Financial's non-bank lending firm, according to a press release JM Financial issued on Thursday.
