Virgin Atlantic in talks with private equity firms over rescue deal

Apollo, Temasek and Greybull Capital are among a dozen firms said to have meetings with the airline this week, according to The Times

A number of private investors are in early talks with Virgin Atlantic to negotiate a rescue deal for the battered British airline this week, sources familiar with the matter confirmed to FN’s sister publication Private Equity News.  

The company is set to have meetings this week with several investors, including US private equity firms Apollo Global Management and Cerberus Capital Management, UK-based investment firm Greybull Capital, Singaporean wealth fund Temasek, according a report by The Times.
